Never, never thought! A thought struck my mind, seated by the tree. Under the moonlight, in the shower of the beams

A trip down memory lane, a familiar face laughed
Though in sadness he smiled, alone with his thought
Never to be seen in public.

I spoke with an uneasy voice, one I barely recognised
'D-Dad'? Why are tears streaming down your cheeks?
As though he could hear me, he smiled and waved off!
The weight we carried, you’d understand someday!

Today, I sat by the old tree, under the moonlight, I couldnt helped but smiled
I softly said, now I understand.
