I sit patiently while my life ticks by,
It's almost like I've been in a waiting room for my whole life,
It is my fault,
No one else's but mine,
You see me as a victim to time,
Because I've just been staring at the clock waiting for my life to fly by,
I wanted to grow up too fast,
And now I see my childhood is going past,
All the time that I look at my reflection,
The more I don't recognize the person staring back at me,
I'm getting older, changing by the days,
I'm just left wondering what has happened to me,
And I wish and wish hopelessly,
that someday maybe I'll be able to just be....
Cause' time is ticking and it's chasing me.
