i don’t ask much,
except, just to know that you made it home safe.
i may not always act like it but,
i do care.
maybe, if i’m honest, not all the time.
every now and then,
especially when you’re in front of me but,
i do care.
i can’t believe that it’s been a few years,
since i’ve felt the inside of your palm.
