Knowing you could but hoping you would never.
I dropped my guard,
Took my finger off the trigger,
Let myself be completely vulnerable,
Made my love accessible to you only,
Trusted whole hardheartedly,
Believed every word you said,
Just for you to lie,
And break your promise in the end...
