Everyone lies
Whether it be to themselves
Or to others
We lie to ourselves when we say everything is fine
Knowing that it isn't
We lie to ourselves when we say we'll get up in a few minutes
Knowing that once we sat down we wern't getting back up
We lie to others when we say we like their clothes
Knowing that it will keep them happy
We lie to others when we say we like their art
Knowing that we're making their day
We lie to others saying we love them
Knowing that we can't break their hearts
Our lives are controlled by lies
And we control others lives with lies.
