There's always that point when everything fades to black
And you know for certain that you cant't turn back
You look for the love your heart seems to lack
Instead you find more reasons not to go back
You realize that lies are all you have to give
And if you break her you'll never be able to live
She comes up to you "I love you" she says
You nod and smile hiding your ways
"I love you too" you reply
Even thought deep down you know it's a lie

Everyone lies
Whether it be to themselves
Or to others
We lie to ourselves when we say everything is fine
Knowing that it isn't
We lie to ourselves when we say we'll get up in a few minutes
Knowing that once we sat down we wern't getting back up
We lie to others when we say we like their clothes
Knowing that it will keep them happy
We lie to others when we say we like their art
Knowing that we're making their day
We lie to others saying we love them
Knowing that we can't break their hearts
Our lives are controlled by lies
And we control others lives with lies.
