In bed I tell myself, That I am too far gone There is no turning back This is who I am, What I have become. And there you are lying, Breathing the same air I breathe As you sleep beside me. Again I ask myself Why? Why do you stay? Why do you even persist? Is it simply because of love? Or is it something else entirely? Then again, does it matter? Of course it does, stupid **** Everything has its reasons I just don't know hers

Why?
In bed I tell myself, That I am too far gone There is no turning back This is who I am, What I have become. And there you are lying, Breathing the same air I breathe As you sleep beside me.
