Where once was life
None now remains
But how these fingers
Remember my pain
And though my silent heart
No longer keeps the pace
They clash and crash
Upon these keys both black and white
I'm drained, drowned
Immersed in sound
Within this darkened room
Where our hearts did beat as one
Forever in time
Though yours will contine
Within the brokeness
That is my mind
