but the infinities
between you and i
are unfathomably large
filled only by the sheer distance
of words that have gone unsaid
and i know that any distance can be traveled
any land walked over,
or bused over,
or talked over,
but sometimes it's better not.
sometimes it's better to let the silence slowly suffocate us,
until one of us forgets the other
