It's the thrill of the grass, the scent of it filling your head, the touch of it staining your smile, the cool of heaven’s dew, the press of green, the brush of wild fields flush with poppy heads, saffron and spearmint, thyme and thistle, violet and vetch, orchid and daffodil, iris and bluebell, foxglove and daisy - topped off with dandelion and burdock and the steady hum of bees drunk on nature's nectar and children's infectious joy spread like a family-wide picnic blanket, filled to the edges with afternoon sun and a breeze sticky-thick with sacred memories that will be savoured and shared until they become storied and stored for children's children as the bedrock and foundation for a stronghold of love, life and poetry.

Summer

I know - it's February in London, but a man can dream.
