I wish the hardships of the world hadn't met me so early
I wish the hardships of the world had let me live before it took over my life
I wish the hardships of the world would have let me become someone before it took over my whole personality
I wish the hardships of the world didn't leak from every generation, forming life long curses
Passed down to us to untangle as we try to be normal kids making their way through life.
I wish hardships had found me a little later on and not in what was meant to be a childhood...
