I wish the hardships of the world hadn't met me so early
I wish the hardships of the world had let me live before it took over my life
I wish the hardships of the world would have let me become someone before it took over my whole personality
I wish the hardships of the world didn't leak from every generation, forming life long curses
Passed down to us to untangle as we try to be normal kids making their way through life.
I wish hardships had found me a little later on and not in what was meant to be a childhood...

It was a dark and stormy night.
The scent of soil was all over
the air.
A shadow stood over me
I felt it's lustful eyes
on my skin.
Crawling beneath my garments.
The shadow whispered in a deep
dark voice something
that sent shivers all over my body.
Soon the shadow was invading
parts of me no one
has ever touched.
The shadow feed on
my innocence.
It devoured my dignity.
Once done it walked away with
pride and joy in it's evil
eyes.
