‎‎Incentives make a mockery of free will, For we don't have the freedom to choose what we're paid to do. ‎A stoic attitude can't make a sour drink any sweeter. ‎The most troubling and the most inevitable fact of life. ‎Tomorrow I'll be weaker and frailer than today, and so on until oblivion. ‎If the future is just repetition, why try to create a better one? ‎God created a perfect world. ‎Sin made a free world rather than a perfect one. ‎The evils in our world, both human and natural, are a consequence of this freedom. ‎The freedom of conscious entities requires the freedom of particles. ‎

The End of Beginning
