Is that a deliberate mistransliteration of &#24029;&#26611;&#65311;  Forgive me if it is explained in your earlier poems, as I am a bit new here, and you have a lot of poems published.

Regardless of form and metre, I like how the tone of the individual words are reversed with meaning as a whole... an optimistic picture built of pessimistic images.

Thanks for replying - and apologies if I was not clear.  For me, the "spelling" of Senry&#363; as Senyr&#363; jumped out, and I wondered whether it was a deliberate reference to the poem being like, but different from that Japanese form, or whether it was just happenstance.  And if it was deliberate, I wondered whether there was an explanation somewhere earlier in your work.

If it is an accident, then I think it is a happy accident - Japanese is hard to render in Roman characters (as they name our alphabet), although the reverse is true and I often struggle to read "English" words in katakana.  In that, you create a new form nodding acknowledgement to the old.
