As far as the moon goes I'm jealous of its brightness How it can change a tide Take you for a ride And collide As far as the moon goes I'm jealous of it's darkness I'm jealous of how it has a schedule A full calendar that never changes I'm jealous of it's nature As far as the moon goes I'm jealous of it's beauty That its mirror the ocean glows in its presence Its bumps lying softly and rashly on its face I'm jealous of its entrance As far as the moon goes I wish I could go with it Hear it spinning in the vortex Tell her to stop yelling my name
