There was a bird A bird with bright feathers He won the love of many He won the love of all Each color Each feather A stolen treasure From someone else who loved him There was a bird A bird with dark feathers She once was as bright as him She once was brighter than him He stole her color Causing her shame Causing her loss The colorless bird sat on her own Singing her beautiful songs on a wire Her call drew many to her Many others Who had their colors stolen All together Their colors returned Stolen back from the thief Don't let anyone steal your color Don't let any **** birds steal your pretty feathers
