A body remembers every day, every second
Memories marked in scars and tan lines and freckled noses
Memories marked in wrinkles and dodgy knees and crooked fingers
But a body eventually destroys itself
When it cannot hold up anymore
And it is still sad
For the brain grows old and forgetful
