I breathe air through lungs, strained from cries. Laugh through a mouth, master of lies. Look at you with eyes, mirrored pain. And still I wonder how I lost you by loving you. Ironic? Understatement. I thought it saving you thought it hiding. Maybe you were right, maybe there is no burden in love.

a theory of silence
I breathe air through lungs, strained from cries. Laugh through a mouth, master of lies. Look at you with eyes, mirrored pain. And still I wonder how I lost you by loving you. Ironic? Understatement. I thought it saving you thought it hiding. Maybe you were right, maybe there is no burden in love.
