In my head, There’s so much I’ve said. Words of affection Spread like an infection. The intensity builds to a ****** All the advice says to relax. But, you see, in my head With all the words I’ve said; I can see what isn’t there. I know this isn’t fair. She should get to decide If she is along for the ride. However, in my head She has already said All the words I want to hear. Heart-warming, brings a tear. But, once again, I’m in a rush. So my thoughts I need to hush. But, you see, in my head I feel like the dead If I am to deny this emotion. But is the train already in motion. I know it barely makes sense, But the air has grown dense. Because in my head, I’ve already said Words, so rash, so wild. I will grow more mild. Cause time will let me know If this feeling inside will grow. So I have said, What is in my head!
