a girl's BFF, doesn't have to be a girl
and a boy's best friend doesn't have to be a boy
a girl needs a friend who wouldn't hit the boy she finds cute
and the same thing applies for boys
a real friend can't promise to solve all your problems but they can promise that you won't face them alone
a real friend is the walks in when the rest walks out

cares like a mom,
scolds like a dad,
