I waited for you by a half-closed door, Believed our hearts could learn to love once more. But silence grew where words once lay, And I still hoped you’d find your way. You came again but not alone, I saw the truth I should have known. Doors once closed should stay that way, Not every love deserves to stay When you return, like you always do The doors will close, you won’t get through

The locked door
I waited for you by a half-closed door, Believed our hearts could learn to love once more. But silence grew where words once lay, And I still hoped you’d find your way. You came again but not alone, I saw the truth I should have known. Doors once closed should stay that way, Not every love deserves to stay When you return, like you always do The doors will close, you won’t get through
