You talked and I listened And I watched your eyes glisten As you crazily gathered your tools Both our heart rates went up At the touch of that stuff We made bad after badder decisions Then you'd lean into me Talking maniacally Hold your hot head until you were quiet What you gave to me Was this feeling of free But your ******** Well I didn't buy it Now don't get me wrong This is a love song You are gorgeous, conflicted and clever I remember us best Watching bubbles coalesce And the feeling that we'd live forever
