Let me cry. Let her smile. Let her go free. Dry your beautiful eyes, Do not smear your hard work. Let me, cry in your stead. Dry those eyes and smile, Show the world your beautiful smile. Brighten the world with your joy. Remove the shackles of fear, Let her walk her path freely, She must not, look over her shoulder, She must feel safe from your presence. Mother's, Sister's, Daughters, I shed tears, so you no longer have to. I bleed so you stay clean, and safe. I walk a different path for your safety. A woman's body is sacred, Not to be defiled, Keep her safe.

I Give my Tears
