Let me cry. Let her smile. Let her go free. Dry your beautiful eyes, Do not smear your hard work. Let me, cry in your stead. Dry those eyes and smile, Show the world your beautiful smile. Brighten the world with your joy. Remove the shackles of fear, Let her walk her path freely, She must not, look over her shoulder, She must feel safe from your presence. Mother's, Sister's, Daughters, I shed tears, so you no longer have to. I bleed so you stay clean, and safe. I walk a different path for your safety. A woman's body is sacred, Not to be defiled, Keep her safe.

I Give my Tears
Melanin queen sitting under the sun. Lips so bright with a devilish outline. With an afro in the shape of a crown. A beautiful melanin tone, untouched, Protected from any prejudice, proud. Remembering her roots, representative. She shows the world what true beauty is. Moving so elegantly, like royalty. Movement mesmerizing like a swan. Admiration and jealousy fill the air. She stands tall with her head high. Her lips hold a dark halo, with a whisper, Whisper of black that framed every curve. With the gloss upon them shimmering, Like dew on a deadly but beautiful flower. Standing high and proud atop her head, A crown, took years of care and love to grow. Dark as the night sky with jewels like the stars, A true black "Afro" defining pride and dignity. As she dances upon the stage, with elegance. The masses are entranced by her elegance. All that can be said is, "indescribable beauty"
