The wind howls, dogs bark teeth bared, in gnarling conflict. The trees lash and birds, carried by the powerful wind, do squawk. Leaves litter, leaving a traffic-light rainbow; Rain gnashes, Jackson ******* esque, superseding my lawn with floodwater — I snap oak tree branches that overhang the porch cocooning my home once again. Nature, you ***** You’re jealous when I rest.
