I tell my friends I love them
I show the people I love that I love them
I loved it when you touched me
Not to make the world jealous
But just because it made me feel close to you
I love it when you touched me
And I don’t know if it’s because as a child we expressed love
But I love openly
Maybe it’s that I’m a nihilist
What’s the worst that’ll happen?
We’ll die?
That’s inevitable
I love loving openly
And so I tell the people I love that I love them
And when I tell you I love you, know it’s the truth
And I’m really hoping that one day that someone I’ll be telling, is you.
