Fiber optic cables pulse with tidbits of psychosis, petty neuroses transmitted at the speed of Wi-Fi. You upload garbage opinions from the break room table, confusing having an internet connection with having a point. You gluttonously gulp at each reply, a fragile dopamine addict constantly refreshing for strangers’ approval. Like it's ******* oxygen. You ragebait some other idiot because silence leaves you alone with yourself. And you can’t stand that. Mustard drips from your sad, gas station sandwich, staining the same apron you're sure you're too smart to wear You clock back in still arguing, still smug, still small.
