Tears are brimming, Overflow is imminent, And the dam I build and repair, Chips and cracks with every little feeling. One leak turns into twenty, Each bigger than the last. Running and hiding does me no favors, There is a new fear around every corner. I can see myself deteriorating in the mirror. I Can feel my mind, Gradually slipping away. Into the clouds, where it wants to stay, lost. Is there a stop to this inevitable break? Or at the very least a stall, Till I can stuff my frame into the wall, And stifle my whimpers and groans.
