**** you and those stupid games you played with me for so long I grimace through a smile that shows when I say that you're gone And I count the days I go without straight bleeding out your name And I strangle every lovely thought that echoes in my pain If all is fair in love and war I'll take my loss and leave I'm tired of living my life blind in hopes that you will see So I'll **** the monsters in my closet underneath my bed And I'll burn the bridge of you and try to heal my heart instead I'm free -- oh, but freedom feels like chains 'Cause although I left the cage of you I'm still left with the pain
