The best muses are screwed up folk, especially in poetry. You should read the short story "The Most Beautiful Woman in Town" by Bukowski, then you'll know what I mean maybe. Give the world time before you give into accepting titles like "damaged"; the most damaging, life-changing, and poetic pain lies in the far future. The pain of youth is to just get you used to the taste.
