Under the red umbrella on the sun-warmed deck a mother and three small blond-haired children danced. Their hair waved in the summer breeze, the clouds above blue, the sun bright and warm, their smiles contagious. I thought, what a moment. My heart longing for the peace of a summer day with your young children happy, healthy, and safe.

Under the Red Umbrella
Under the red umbrella on the sun-warmed deck a mother and three small blond-haired children danced. Their hair waved in the summer breeze, the clouds above blue, the sun bright and warm, their smiles contagious. I thought, what a moment. My heart longing for the peace of a summer day with your young children happy, healthy, and safe.
On my way to work one day I witnessed a woman with three young children on the deck of a house. It was finally getting warm after a long winter, and I so wanted to be at home with my children instead of on my way to work.
