Their lips burned with passion Their bodies This collision of souls Perfectly conducted; a Religious experience Almost. Then A wavering A fault In their union. The fault; Their bodies loved with Familiar passion Yet empty it was; Baseless Soulless Superficial 'loving'. "He's not mine" she thought "She's not the one" he knew In that moment; A decision was made Loneliness, or empty love? Empty love. We choose Fulfilled hollowness.

Not Mine
Their lips burned with passion Their bodies This collision of souls Perfectly conducted; a Religious experience Almost. Then A wavering A fault In their union. The fault; Their bodies loved with Familiar passion Yet empty it was; Baseless Soulless Superficial 'loving'. "He's not mine" she thought "She's not the one" he knew In that moment; A decision was made Loneliness, or empty love? Empty love. We choose Fulfilled hollowness.
A poem about two people who ‘force’ loving one another even though they know they are a mismatch. Their fear of being alone blinds them.
