I wait;
for life to feel more lively.
for when my love returns home safely;
for the job I need so badly.
Everyone of us are waiting;
For some one, something
Is life all about the patience that comes with it?
I wished to grow up
And see what life would throw at us.
30 years into it - I'm still learning how.
I take a step back and look at my life;
All the vivid colours;
The happiness, the sadness, the anxiousness
Whatever made me; Me.
Here I see;
my baby in my arms
Looking at me;
Like I am her whole world.
I look at my family;
Rooting for me, praying for me.
And so I stopped.
I stopped waiting for things to happen;
And let life go with the flow.
