I was certain of what I saw, For it was a moment when the sun still graced the sky. I couldn’t help but drop my jaw, My gaze held fast; I could not look away. The light stood still upon her face, And there I stood, completely amazed. Her lips were beckoning me near, Like a jolt of electricity, her desire ran through me. The space between us trembled, thin and tight, A breath away from crossing into flame. My pulse grew louder than the fading light, Unsure if I should move or let it be. Desire leaned close and spoke my name, But I stepped back before it grew. I let restraint outrun the flame, And kept the distance we both knew. _I'm Exquisite Poet Awoyale Oluwaponmile Oluwadarasimi

AT THE EDGE OF TEMPTATION
I was certain of what I saw, For it was a moment when the sun still graced the sky. I couldn’t help but drop my jaw, My gaze held fast; I could not look away. The light stood still upon her face, And there I stood, completely amazed. Her lips were beckoning me near, Like a jolt of electricity, her desire ran through me. The space between us trembled, thin and tight, A breath away from crossing into flame. My pulse grew louder than the fading light, Unsure if I should move or let it be.
