as love falls
timeless
and effortless
the tide falls
as desires endure
like diamonds-
resting gently on the shore
the tide surges
as lust tumbles
like a berating beast
its emotions bubble
the sea
like colorless crystals
gnaw with ardor
the skin of intimacy
the tide cascades
as love burns
a feeling once constant--
