You are a thought that doesn't need to be chased I’m here w/you, Penumbra, light shadow graced Almost in a partial shade at an edge of darkness Thin in soft layers, slipping thru a flowing dress, Traces of you remain in the outer of a foggy ring A place of the gradient--where light & dark sing, Overlap negotiate a word companion barely real Uncertain beauty her presence trembles to reveal Moments pass between us, feel it shape the light, Fades a coming dawn, between us, touches sight Something soft lingers, meaning leans gradually, The moon in the sand waves that beckon us a sea In the morning of a light draw me to a very edge, The light hesitates, our shadows reach and yearn, An almost in a barely kiss the possibilities in turn

My Light Penumbra
In my light penumbra, a dark moment caught forever between the real and right, we trace memories in a song that plays us walking barefoot by the sea, almost I can see you smile to laugh & play, but then you fade & ever in that place caught just the other side where a light darkness folds.
