CAPTAIN JIM
I know a mate called Captain Jim
Who wants one written for him…
The man’s in command
That I understand,
And I must determine his whim.
What do I say of my Commander
(He requests he get the first gander)…
I’d better be sure
Of facts I procure,
I will not use hearsay or slander.
If he wants a fine fantasy
He can do it much better than me…
I hear there are lines
That work sometimes
To put something under the tree.
I’m reluctant to say any more,
Don’t need an escort out the door…
From Commander Jim
Who must have his whim
Of watching my sweat out-pour!
