i am powerful and wicked i strike men down with a sharp tongue and harsh eyes but you- you leave me feeling like a grain of sand in a dust storm and i forget myself- i forget that i am the ruler of my own feral heart that you should be only a laborer… but you’re more than that- you’re ethereal and what is a queen like me to the deity that you are? the angels in your eyes and the gospels on your lips. what is a ruler over men to one who serves gods?
