Try to remember the gift you are. I am glad you shared for you have talent inside the written word. Try looking at nature for inspiration and allowing your poems to flow with light. Our experiences both good and bad allow us to evolve and realize YOU WE are all sacred with the abilities to choose to shift for harmony. Take your young age and celebrate it knowing you have that much more opportunities to see your gifts and move with them. Listen not to others but your own heart. It beats inside your greatness. Jessy...relax...you are PERFECTLY normal.  You are a young lady who thinks, feels and expresses.  The only problem is you lean a bit to the negative on yourself.  IGNORE what other people say to you.  My mother used to tell me that...IGNORE THEM...THEY DON'T KNOW YOU.  My father used to criticize me if I did something wrong.  But, according to my mother, he wanted me to do it RIGHT.  I didn't feel that at the time, I used to think...EVERYTHING I did was WRONG.  WHAT I DIDN'T REALIZE is that I was going through a learning experience...WE ALLLLL DO AT YOUR AGE...AND QUITE A FEW YEARS LATER ALSO.  YOU are absolutely fine babe.  TRUST ME I went through the SAME lack of positive thought at your age.  I couldn't do ANYTHING right...but I learned...JUST AS YOU ARE LEARNING.  I'm 66 now...and I am happy as a clam.  My father truly DID understand me...he was just harsh, and I walked away from my toxic...'friends'.  And found more positive people to hang out with.  Some people like to stand on YOUR shoulders to make themselves seem bigger in their own eyes.  Don't fall into that realm of thinking...think positive.  PLEASE.

In the meantime, read poetry.  It is not statement, not fact,
not personal confession in a journal.  It is love of the magic of words and imagery to create your own universe, your own safe haven.  Let your imagination free.  Contradiction is part of being human.  We are all the same in that we are both happy and sad as we travel through life, as life is not one dimensional.
You'll be fine.  Read read read poetry! You will understand what I mean...
