Orange tints swept among the breeze,
Painting the forest to match the sunset.
The grass's green has waned,
As the sun's heat dwindled.
Nature has begun to falter,
Suckled dry amongst the heat.
In need of rest,
Even the birds take leave for now.
Now begins a time of death.
Now begins the time before.
Now begins a time of life...
Nestled away from the cold,
Where eternity can take its time to mend the tattered roots of those too tired to try...
...Till the sun returns its glow.
