The heat of summer declining Winter is on its way The stars begin aligning Like flowers in a bouquet As the breeze rolls through the field Stands the finest purple flower With a beauty that she so graciously wields As she walks this land of ours She is warmth in autumn A smooth aroma in winter A warm embrace that's made of cotton A love tinted red like dusk in winter In a gentle season of change I see my beautiful Autumn Crocus
