From that word I dreaded My heart broke From my tear All darkness returned In an instant The illusion disappeared Reality reappeared I couldn't let go but you already left My nightmare of loosing you became real The lady I once loved Now was a figment of my imagination My memories slowly faded My heart never let go of you Because of this a knife to the heart was the only way This was to teach myself not to love I pulled out the knife and my heart was still beating This pain is endless just because of that one word I hated to hear "goodbye"

This endless pain
From that word I dreaded My heart broke From my tear All darkness returned In an instant The illusion disappeared Reality reappeared I couldn't let go but you already left My nightmare of loosing you became real The lady I once loved Now was a figment of my imagination My memories slowly faded My heart never let go of you Because of this a knife to the heart was the only way This was to teach myself not to love I pulled out the knife and my heart was still beating This pain is endless just because of that one word I hated to hear "goodbye"
