But thats cuz he’s tired
He has a really cool job
And doesnt want to be fired

Mommy came home
with tears in her eyes
I didnt understand
Usually im the one who cries
My daddy WAS a hero
His pictures on our shelf
He saved many many lives
But couldn’t save himself
He had a hard job
He saw lots of things
He kept it all inside
Now he has angel wings
when i grow up i want to be a hero
