The eyes, they say, Are windows. My teeth are bars, Prison bars, Holding back words As well as screams. My veins, Just chains, Just binding rope. Binding hope. Holding me back, Holding me together. The skin I'm in, The bones within, Just walls, Trapping me- Suffocating- Killing me. The blood fills my veins, Tightens the chains, Drowning me.
