I’m a hopeless romantic
And for that reason,
I ignore the warnings in my head
The ones that say that i’m
Just repeating history.
You see,
Most people burn themselves
And learn to move further away
from the flames.
I, however, burn myself
Mumble some profanity
And continue to feed the fire.
