It was a sea of white Cold and dry was the night All alone she was in the blues Tired she was, so she removed her shoes She walked, moved, dragged herself Rushed, raced, rolled thyself She came to a halt, STOP! Then questions started to pop Isn’t there success after patience? Isn’t there victory in persistence? So round and round she went Up and down; her time she spent She was a tiny dark ant with weak feet On a wide plain white sheet! August 27, 2015
