I write to you once again
This time so disappointed
Why always cause pain?
Must you always be shattered?
I’m so mad at you!
Stop falling in love
The time now not yet due
Let this day be the last swerve!
I jot this down an angry he,
Always you leave me traumatized,
Wait, but it’s you being broken, not me!
Who knows, you might end up paralyzed?

My life is a string
Too tiny it can snap
My life is a rock
Too heavy, it’s a burden
My life is not a story
That I can share with a smile.
I survived a hurricane
I escaped a drought
A heat wave just concluded
Yet I am still alive
Writing…
I wander alone in this world
A world ‘we’ are so many
While they, ‘them’ live a lavish life
We are ravished recklessly
Wondering…
All I need is someone to call mine
A shoulder to lean on
A shoulder to cry on
But still my shoulder rejects my soul
Lamenting…

I try so hard
Hurt so bad
Get so mad
But never sad
Try like a nerd
Seem a helpless lad.
But I want to be like dad
And forever a happy bird

Wisdom has been granted unto us,
Knowledge is what we seek;
Listen to my husky voice,
Hear the words i speak,
But heed the silence.
In life, time detects all.
For every tick, there’s commencement of love,
For every tock, there’s a heartbreak,
A smile on her face doesn’t mean she’s happy
The laugh he gives will not always be genuine;
Sometimes the best advice is from the ‘crushed’;
And the most understood ally is the enemy;
In life, time detects all.
Take a second, grasp the silence,
The silence of my voice!

I am a poet, I pick no sides
My choices vary, just like the tides;
I say yes, but later question the yes
I set the pace, but wonder if I made a mess;
My mind whispers no, so I say no
But my soul demands to know more;
The society questions for answers
But the poet questions the answers.
I am a poet, I never make decisions at bay
I have to think and think, throughout the day;
I must consider all the options at my disposal
Dispose one after another till the most noble;
The poet never makes a wrong decision
It is either a weak or a strong solution;
Thus it’s tough for the poet to play roulette.
I am a poet, are you a poet?

Today I will give you the answer
The answer to a question you haven’t asked
But I’m sure you will one day;
Listen to me my dear son
This life we live in is a jungle
Full of hawks and mighty eagles
All powerful- claws, vision, flight
And all they do is take, take, take
Negotiations? Why should they anyway?
But look up there,
Yes, that red ball floating on air
You won’t see it now but you will some day
That burning flame is what gives us hope
So we sing each morning
For our heart’s hurt,
but our souls stay strong!

Can you hear the vision I poise?
My cry that people take as noise
I sob till my mouth dumb
And tear till my cheeks numb
Why so young yet so scarlet?
Why try to recast your garnet?
This world is round and wild
I tell you so, wound now and mild
This is my last call
So strong I stand tall
I speak to talk
For doors open after a knock
Open your eyes, see the hook
Stop observing, see, don’t look
You will get the picture
It’s always there, just like a fixture.

A
Tear,
Down my
Cheek, A tear
Full of pain, a tear
With extreme emotions, A
Tear for my young worthless
Life, A tear for the life with no
Freedom, A tear, a tear and another,
For my life in the dark room, with a halo
Of regrets, but one day, yes, one day, I hope
I will swim in the ocean of freedom, fly in
The rays of the moon. Freedom!
It comes last you know
…

At dusk we strike
The storm should cover us
Gather up boys
We move at 0000 hours
Mission is **** to ****
Code name for enemy is l.u.s.t.
We arm ourselves for war
Let gunfire be our last resort
Take the daggers and machetes
We move like the wind
We hit swiftly and silently
Tonight we **** for love
Listen to me brothers
We are not soldiers
We are fighters
And tonight we fight
We fight for love
This is a Revolution!

It was a sea of white
Cold and dry was the night
All alone she was in the blues
Tired she was, so she removed her shoes
She walked, moved, dragged herself
Rushed, raced, rolled thyself
She came to a halt, STOP!
Then questions started to pop
Isn’t there success after patience?
Isn’t there victory in persistence?
So round and round she went
Up and down; her time she spent
She was a tiny dark ant with weak feet
On a wide plain white sheet!
