So many empty promises,
so many things that you forget,
leave me hangin' i wonder if you ever regret?
regret all those things that you said you'd do,
but never ended up coming through,
i dont know what you expect me to do,
after all those things you've put me through,
no one gets how much it hurt me,
and trust me it still does,
and how much you meant ,
but like you expect me to do i guess ill just forget,
even though theres many of you,
and i know i can do better,
those empty promises and empty feelings you left
just get better and better,
over time those wounds will heal,
and overtime it wont hurt so bad,
but i give a big thanks to my first empty promise.. my dad.
