pulsating throughout your entire body
rattling your bones
and sending traces of it through your bloodstream
it's venom
it immortalizes you and yet,
you like it
you covet for it
you want the thing that slowly makes you into something you're not
it's slowly eradicating your flesh
and yet, you like
the smell
the sensation
the sound that echoes within your ear canal
harmful yet tempting
