Summer has come
and Winter has gone
Summer is here with her smells and her hues
Scent from the flowers
Hues from the petals
The colours are vibrant and new
And in the morning the grass displays its dew with Little droplets of water
The grass and the trees along with the leaves
Gently sway in the breeze
Are decidedly light
as the sun shines so bright !
Nature at its best
There’s baby birds in the nest
Squirrels in the trees
Summer is in the air
A field fare flies by
In the beautiful blue sky
It’s the season of summer
It’s here!
